As you already have noticed, I use fuzz distortion as the main sound of this guitar lessons blog. I may say that fuzz effect pedals is a part of my guitar style cause they sound exactly the way I like. I enjoy very much the sound of 60′s, I see it as the most original and perfect one. Boss FZ-5 Fuzz Effect Pedal Review

The first Boss Fuzz pedal I tried in my life was the third version (fz-3). First of all, I got a little bit confused about the way it sounds, but after playing for a while with its settings and with the settings of my gear – I got exactly what I needed! Using Boss FZ-5 Fuzz Pedal you can make an old classic rock guitar sound, you can also use it in combination with some other pedals like Boss Blues Driver or Boss Super Overdrive, just remember – it will sound better if the gain level is low, but it depends on your taste – I used Fuzz as the main sound and the secondary distortion pedal as a preamp.

Now I propose you to watch the best YouTube videos I found, they will give you a better idea on how you can use this pedal in your guitar music. The possibilities are big – but the final important factor is the gear and guitar you are using!

There are three most important factors we should take care of in order to become a famous guitarst: a) the way you play your instrument b) the way you look c) the way you sound.
