Being a guitar teacher for over 5 years was a great experience for me! My opinion is that when you teach somebody else to play the instrument you are also learning to play it better. It’s like when you get a higher qualification – just every time you show somebody a good exercise to play, first of all it’s you who will have to play it at least several times while showing, it means that you are also training these exercises and as a result your guitar skills also grow up! Ok, in this video guitar lesson I will show you a riff which will help you to understand the importance of being able to stretch your fingers on maximum. It will help you to avoid some problems in your future while learning some complicated solos and riffs. All right, I have to hurry up cause in the evening I have to record a solo for a rising singer, I wish you good luck!

Finger Stretching Guitar Riff
Nice riff. It reminds me of Stone Temple Pilots. I like to do a lot of those kinds of descending bass line riffs … sort of an inverted pedal tone.
